Most of us have known people who have personally fought the battle against cancer. Fiona and I have had many family members lost to cancer. Through modern treatments and much grace, some have survived. Others have not. The MSU Gran Fondo is our opportunity to get some skin in the game and provide hope for nearly 70,000 people in the U.S. expected to be diagnosed with melanomas of the skin this year.
Funds raised from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Gran Fondo support skin cancer awareness, prevention and research at MSU. These dollars are funding pilot studies – investigative, next-step research that tests findings and enables a scientific study to continue.
On June 22, 2019, the streets of West Michigan will be paved with good intentions. And here’s where we need your help. We’ve made a commitment to make the MSU Gran Fondo much more than a ride. 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to support skin cancer awareness, prevention and research at MSU. Together we can make a difference. Thank you!
