On June 22, I am riding 25 miles in the 7th annual MSU Gran Fondo. (This will be my 5th year!) This fun, non-competitive cycling event supports Michigan State University College of Human Medicine's skin cancer awareness, prevention and research.
Cyclists of all skill levels ride along scenic 12, 25, 40 or 80-mile routes from downtown Grand Rapids to the Lake Michigan Shoreline. Riders enjoy gourmet food stops along the route and celebrate at the Finish Line Festival with music, craft brews and a grand feast.
In its seventh year, the MSU Gran Fondo has already drawn over 7,500 riders from across the globe to its scenic Michigan course and has raised nearly $1,000,000 in the fight against skin cancer.
Every dollar raised goes directly to researching new therapies to treat skin cancer and improving the lives of those battling it.
I am committed to helping the MSU Gran Fondo make and even bigger impact this year! Please consider making a donation to help me reach my goal of $500 for skin cancer awareness, prevention and research!
